Hi Folks,
Well, Thanksgiving 2021 is past and now we are already in the church season of Advent. Recently, a good friend of mine, sent me her church bulletin; St.Patrick’s Parish Wareham, Mass. We give thanks on the holiday; but, should it stop 🛑 there??? The following is from St. Patrick’s bulletin, 11-21-2021.
As we are coming to end of the Liturgical year and celebrate Christ the King and also Thanksgiving this week, here are a few quotes from Catholic Saints that may give inspirations or pause us to stop and 🤔 think just what we are thankful for!
“The secret for happiness is to live in moment by moment and to thank God for what He is sending us every day in His goodness .”- St. Gianna Beretta Molla
“No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks.” St. Ambrose
“ In all created things discern the providence and wisdom of God, and in all things give Him thanks.” St. Teresa of Avila
“Thank God ahead of time.” St. Solanus Casey
“Remember the past with gratitude. Live the present with enthusiasm. Look forward to the future with confidence.” St.John Paul II
So, let’s keep thanking God, not just on a holiday; but, for every moment, every day and every thing He gives us and Most of All let’s thank Him for His ❤️ LOVE
Ps- please pray with me for our troubled world and for peace in the future too! T
