This past Sunday, was the First  Sunday of Lent and Fr. David's homily was about how Jesus was tempted by Satan in the desert for forty days. Father noted that Jesus put everything he had into those forty days. He also let us know how we can put everything we have into Lent. Finally, he mentioned the three colors of Lent. They are 1) Prayer 2) Fasting and 3) Alms giving.

Well, I thought to myself; that's easy enough. I take some time everyday to pray anyway. I can cut back on my Lattes (now that is a small  sacrifice) but, a tough one for me and usually, I make some small  donations to some of the missions throughout the month.

So, folks, please join with me this Lent and try to do one or all (if you have the time) of these three things. Of course, you  can do your own things for Lent too; like visiting someone who is lonely, do some errands for someone who is afraid to go out because of the Pandemic, etc. etc. After all, we have heard every day during the Pandemic thru the media, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!"

No Los Pierdas Vista!
