The Feast of the Epiphany
of the Lord
This Sunday was the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord. The Epiphany is the manifestation of Jesus as Messiah of Israel, Son of God and Savior of the world. The great feast of the Epiphany celebrates the adoration of Jesus by the wise men (magi) from the East. In the magi, (212) representatives of the neighboring pagan religions, the Gospel sees the first-fruits of the nations, who welcome the good news of salvation through the Incarnation. The Epiphany shows that "the full number of the nations" now takes it place in the family of the patriarchs, and acquires Israelitica dignitgas (215)(are made"worthy of the heritage of Israel").

"We are not alone;
We do not walk alone.
We are part of the ONE FLOCK of
Christ that walks together.

" Thoughts to Ponder"
At Sunday Mass Father went over the Gospel and the story of the magi and the gifts that they brought to offer to the New Born King. He then spoke about what gifts we as Christians can offer?
The best gift we can offer Him is the "gift of ourselves."
and remember!
o lo pierdos de vista/Don't lose sight of Him
