OPEN DOOR
POPE FRANCIS DEDICATED HIS CATECHESIS TO THE SYMBOL OF THE HOLY DOOR,
which was opened at St. Peter's Basilica December 8th to mark the start of the extraordinary Holy
Year of Mercy. Pope Francis also said, "God always keeps open the door of His MERCY and offer of salvation to everyone. The doors of the every church and every Christian heart must never be closed to others."

Something to Ponder:
We are already in the 4th week of Advent. Hopefully, most of the shopping and preparations for Christmas are done; BUT, are we prepared spiritually for His coming: There are many ways one can prepare that are spiritual: reading the Bible, the readings of the week, confession, lighting the candel on an Advent wreath, or saying the Rosary. We say, "But, I don't have the time to pray. " The actual time for any of the above is about anywhere from 15 minutes to a half hour. There is a saying that I remind myself of: It says, "If you are too busy to pray; then you are too busy." Take a few minutes, if only once in a while and acknowledge Him, AND REMEMBER, "Wise men still seek Him."
On our travels today, I happened to notice a church sign that said, "The only gift Jesus wants this Christmas is you.
No los pierdos de vista/don't lose sight of Him.
