Hi Folks! "Happy New Year" to all!!
Well, one of my goals for the New Year is to post on my blog more often then in 2020.
they say usually by February most goals are broken. Let's see how I do!
December 28, 2020 was the Feast of the Holy Innocence on our church calendar. In our Bibles, Matthew 2 (16-18) you can read about the Massacre of the Infants when Herod ordered the massacre of all the boys in Bethlehem two years old and under. This particular feast brings to my mind all the innocent babies that are aborted every day in our present society. Now late term abortions are acceptable; even up until the time of birth! It has been proven that the baby being aborted can feel the pain as it's life is being taken ! Are we any different then King Herod in taking the lives of innocent children? How many people in our government are pro-choice; yet, claim to be a Christian. One of our deacons said, "A Christian is someone with whom and in whom Christ lives."
All un-born babies are alive and growing in their mothers' wombs. To abort them is to destroy one of God's creations! There are many reasons that someone may choose to have an abortion. It might be out of fear, age, lack of parental support, or sadly just a matter of inconvenience! I am thankful that I have never been in a position to make that decision. President Trump was the only president in my lifetime of 78 years; that was pro-life and who attended the pro-life march in Washington, D.C. When Judge Barret was elected to the Supreme Court: I was somewhat hopeful, that there was hope for the un-born! But, now with the left and Biden being elected president and who is pro-choice; as well as vice-president elect Harris who, I believe is pro-choice as well; I fear for all the babies that will never have a chance so see life! If you have ever lost a child, for any reasons; and, there are many, my heart goes out to you, not only in sympathy; but, in empathy as well! So, what can we do?? To all the pro-lifers out there; we can pray and pray big! I pray for the un-born every day; that their mothers will have mercy on them. God hears all our prayers and remember: where there are two or more gathered together, He is there too! God Bless; and please pray with me for all the un-born! Thanks for listenting too!😊
