Hello Folks, Yesterday, I turned on the tv and happened upon the governor of North Carolina, Governor Cooper speaking about the pandemic. He spoke of many things and advised us how to protect ourselves and our loves ones. At the end of his speech, he said,”Let’s pray for one another!” I was truly impressed ; because, this was the first time I heard an official mention prayer!
Also, I remember the tragedy of 911, The churches were full, But, later on, when life became more normal ; some people, not all, stopped coming to church and maybe prayed less too!
So, why do we only recognize our creator, when we are in trouble! I am not criticizing; because, many people don’t know God! Well, as the saying goes; “Its never too late.”Some of us, might say, I prayed, but, no one listens!” Don’t be sure! Just because, we didn’t get what we asked for doesn’t me that our prayer wasn’t heard. I can vouch for that!
What is something we can do as individuals about the pandemic. We can; as Governor Cooper said, “LETS PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER!”
Jesus said,” I tell you if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for it, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, thee am I with them.” Matthew 18: 19-20
And remember, when you can’t put your prayers into words GOD hears your heart!
