Quote:

The Catholic Company Morning Offering

"But no matter how high in the clouds this arrow of pride may fly, and no matter how exuberant one may feel while being carried up so high, let us remember that the lightest of these arrows still has a heavy iron head. High as it may fly, therefore, it inevitably has to come down and hit the ground. And sometimes it lands in a not very clean place." -St. Thomas More

\Comment: Ah, pride?  Pride is a good thing; such as achieving a goal successfully after hours or years of work. We should feel proud of our efforts. But, there is another kind of pride; having a  too high opinion of our self and perhaps looking down on others who, for many reasons,  were not as successful as your self.
This kind of pride might cause us to fall to sin and would certainly not be pleasing to Our Lord.  Be careful where you land.
And remember,"No los pierdos de vista/Don't lose sight of Him.
