THE CRUCIFIXION
Jesus uttered a loud cry and said, "Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit." After He said this, He expired.
Comment: There is a man on the cross. Whenever there is silence about me, day or night, I am startled by a cry. It came from the cross the first time I heard it, and I went out and searched and found a man in the throes of crucifixion. " I said I will take you down." He said," I can not be taken down until every man,woman and child come together to take me down. "What can I do?" I said, "I can not bear your cry." And He said," Go into the world and tell everyone you meet there is a man on the cross." (Through the year with Fulton Sheen)
